Each cruise line has different age requirements for children. There is also quite a spectrum of what programs a cruise line offers for children and families. And each cruise line's definition of luxury can vary from one to the next. So how do you narrow it all down?

--The ages of everyone going on the trip. Will you have little kids that would like onboard activities? Are you looking for more family-oriented entertainment?
--What kinds of activities do you like to do onboard? Are you more of an adventure-seeking crowd? Or is relaxing by the pool more your speed?
--What is your preference on-board dining? Do you prefer buffets and restaurants that have something for everyone? Do you like being able to choose a different dining experience every night?
--What kind of shore excursions work best for my group? Should we all go together or should we split up according to interests?
